Description:
Simple and easy to operate, the Franke Triflow Kitchen Faucet provides hot, cold or mixed supplies of water just like a regular kitchen faucet. Select the faucets' third handle and cold water is diverted through a compact filter cartridge to remove impurities. The water then travels back through a concealed and completely separate waterway and out through its' own spout. This means the filtered water can never come in contact with the untreated or hot or cold supplies. The benefit of one faucet to perform all functions is to eliminate extra clutter of an additional separate lesser quality faucet on your countertop or sink and leaving room for a convenient soap dispenser.

The Filtration Unit FRXS2 (included)
The Franke FRXS2 water filtration system addresses an ever-growing need for clean water in the home. A simple installation makes it easy to forego carrying and storing bulky store-bought water containers and wasting plastic. The filter works with hot, cold or mixed water supplies, and an optional kit makes it easy to install the system in refrigerators to filter ice water. The filter removes contaminates and bacteria as small as 0.5 microns in size, which is 1/100th of the diameter of a human hair. Unlike other filter systems the FRXS2 system does not remove beneficial minerals like calcium and magnesium from the water, retaining the benefits of drinking clean water. There is no chemical treatment necessary, and the filters should be replaced every 6 - 12 months.

Manufactured exclusively for Franke Filtration Systems in Switzerland, FRX02 filter cartridges have a unique ceramic and carbon composition. The cartridges' cleanable ceramic outer shell is impregnated with silver. which works to remove bacteria, while the water cartridges' inner carbon core removes organics and odors (such as chlorine and unpleasant tastes).
